The first footage for Divergent made its debut last night at the MTV Video Music Awards live pre-show. The film is set in a dystopian Chicago in a society where people are divided into five factions dedicated to a specific virtue: Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent).
