Listen to Maijah New Song ‘The Star’ – A Feel-Good Anthem for 2024

Check out the new track The Star by “Maijah” produced by Angelo de Laurentis and mastered by Matthew Wolk (known for Small Pools, Dempsey Hope, Anna Thompson). Fans of Lana Del Rey, Jorja Smith, and Sabrina Claudio could vibe with the track.

“This song feels like my hello to 2024 and the rest of my life,” says Maijah. She also adds, “I’ve always resonated with literal stars, and I’ve always wanted to be a star. In this song, I wanted to show the listener that if they want to be something, they can just do it; they already are it.”

Hailing from the West Coast, Maijah Anastasia Sanson-Frey began releasing music in 2021 and quickly gained over 10 million Spotify/Apple Music streams in two years. Influenced by artists like Lana del Rey and Frank Ocean, Maijah’s genre-diverse sound is coined as “Main Character Music.” With lyrics touching on astrology and spirituality, she aims to inspire and empower listeners, addressing mental health struggles openly.
