Last month, when announcing her pregnancy, she told her fans, “You know it’s still going to be a long journey ahead, but I’m up for it. I feel a shift in myself.”

“When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between the creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn’t matter anymore,” she added. “All that matters is that I’m healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy.”

She also reflected on her own childhood journey and what it was like growing up with her mom, who’s believed to have had Munchausen by proxy.

“It’s not about anything other than the tiny little life that’s inside you,” she said in her announcement, holding back tears. “That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that’s yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little.”

Gypsy Sips Both A Hot And Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Gypsy Rose kicked off her Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte debut with the iced version, and she was all smiles, saying, “Oh that is good.” But when she moved on to the hot latte, the 33-year-old wasn’t as impressed. “I like the iced one better,” she admitted. “Maybe if it was a cold day, the warm would be better, but it’s southern Louisiana, so I do like the iced better.”

She captioned the post, “Tasting My first Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte,” as she added a disclaimer: “Women who are pregnant are allowed to consume a maximum of 200 mg of caffeine per day. Caffeine is considered safe in moderation,” she wrote.

However, according to the American Pregnancy Association, moms-to-be should not consume caffeine because “your baby does not have the same ability because its metabolism is still maturing.”

“Even a small amount of caffeine can cause changes in your baby’s sleep pattern or normal movement pattern in the later stages of pregnancy,” the Association claims. “Remember, because caffeine is a stimulant, it can keep both you and your baby awake.”

Additionally, according to a study by researchers at the National Institutes of Health, “Pregnant women who consumed the caffeine equivalent of as little as half a cup of coffee a day on average had slightly smaller babies than pregnant women who did not consume caffeinated beverages.”

“The researchers found corresponding reductions in size and lean body mass for infants whose mothers consumed below the 200 milligrams of caffeine per day(link is external) — about two cups of coffee — believed to increase risks to the fetus,” the National Institutes of Health found. “Smaller birth size can place infants at higher risk of obesity, heart disease and diabetes later in life.”
