General Hospital Comings & Goings: John “Jagger” Cates Staying Put
GH casting updates report John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is staying in Port Charles for quite a while. His portrayer, Adam, is officially on contract, so we’ll be seeing a lot of the FBI agent. Currently, he’s investigating the recent mob attacks taking place across the country.
Someone is trying to wipe out mobsters, including Port Charles kingpin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Fans may recall that John has a rocky history with Sonny on General Hospital. This is mostly due to Sonny’s connection to John’s ex-wife, Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson).
However, John is in town on business, and that’s his top priority. But when he discovers who’s trying to kill Sonny, things may get extremely personal. With Jason Morgan‘s (Steve Burton) return coming up, chances are, he’s the shooter everyone’s searching for.
If so, that will put him at war with his long-time bestie, Sonny. Also, Jason has a connection to Karen on General Hospita, and it may go deeper than anyone realizes. There’s a possibility that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is Jason and Karen’s son.
And that would escalate the feud between him and Sonny because he just made Dex leave town. So, indeed, John’s return is speeding along this mob storyline, and everything will likely come to a head when Jason resurfaces on March 4th.
GH Casting Changes: Selina Wu Returns
General Hospital updates find Selina Wu (Lydia Look) on the scene again, and she’s also part of the mob drama. She’s helping Sonny figure out who’s after him by letting him interrogate one of her disloyal guards.
So, the lady gangster might play a pivotal role in the reveal of the mystery shooter. In other casting news, it looks like Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) latest stint is over, and he is back in California.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Spinelli Back for Good?
Additionally, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has been around a lot more lately, and he might not be leaving anytime soon. No doubt, it seems GH is setting up a reunion between Spinelli and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Currently, he is living with Maxie, and now it’s apparent that they both still have feelings for each other. Their reunion seems to be speeding up and. if they get back together, that should put Spinelli on-screen much more often.
