So many stories, information tidbits to get to on this Monday episode. It’s going to be filled with a lot of goodies. To say the least. I want to talk about the impressive weekend that Jesse Palmer had.
Joan talks about her overnight dates and does something that’s never been done before in this show’s history. We are going to talk about Grant’s women. I’ve got an update on Grant’s first two dates of the season. Rachel Recchia. Pretty much parrots what I’ve been telling people for 10 years regarding the men of this franchise, but it was nice To hear her say it because she’s a former lead and has dealt with it herself big brother last night I’ve got an update I’ve got a new purchase that I’ve made in my life and finally if I can remember to get to this There is an absolute musical legend out there that is being exploited And if you haven’t seen it online yet, you should it’s sad You We’ll get to all that momentarily.
Okay. First things first, let’s start with Jesse Palmer. Rarely ever do I start a podcast with Jesse Palmer and we know that Jesse Palmer is a man of many jobs. He hosts The Bachelor. He hosts The Bachelorette. He hosts Bachelor in Paradise. He hosts The Great Cooking Bake Off or whatever that show is. He does Rooms to Go commercials.
He’s also an analyst on ESPN College Football on the weekends. Now, once they leave the country and once they start traveling for Grant’s season, you will notice that Jesse Palmer will not be on football games. Obviously, he’s not going to fly back from another country to do a game on a Saturday. But he did have himself quite an interesting weekend.
Cause I can say this Friday was the first date of the season. It was a group date and Jesse was a part of it. Well, if you watched college football on Friday, you also noticed that Jesse was the color analyst with Joe Tessitore on the UCLA LSU game Saturday. So. After the date on Friday, basically, I guess, takes the red eye out, gets to Louisiana on Saturday and does the LSU UCLA game, and then it takes the red eye out again, because yesterday he was seen in South Orange County.
Not any part of the show. I could tell you he was seen out with family. I saw pictures and. It wasn’t part of the date, which obviously means that yesterday was a one on one date. Jesse was just back in California yesterday. So that’s pretty impressive date on Friday for the show flies out to Louisiana on Saturday, and then he takes the red eye back on Sunday and he’s hanging out with family in Southern California tonight is rose ceremony number two.
So I just want to give Jesse props for that. Chris Harrison never had to do that as far as I know, because Chris Harrison only had one job. No, I should say, I should say, no, Chris Harrison after a while did have two jobs. He remember he was hosting who wants to be a millionaire. However, that film during the summer that never overlapped with his bachelor or bachelorette schedule.
So props to Jesse for that. Speaking of Jesse on Friday, Grant had a group date on Friday in Los Angeles and I’ve got the notes for Friday and Saturday’s group date. I know the women that were on each date. I know what they did. There were no group date roses handed out on that activity that happens at the afterparty.
We know that, but I don’t need to give the names out now. There’s no reason to. But I can say that Friday’s date was a five on five basketball game at the LA athletic club. And Saturday’s date was a seven woman group date. And it was an RNB date where they had to perform a. Slash rap for grant. Somebody was awarded the winner.
I know who that was. And on Friday’s date, I believe there was an MVP that was named in that that, yeah, there was an MVP named in the basketball game. So Friday’s date was at the LA athletic club and Saturday’s date was held at the bellwether theater in Los Angeles. So I know everything about the dates.
And I don’t know who was on yesterday’s date, but we can say this, knowing that 10 were on Friday’s date and knowing that seven women were on Saturday’s date yesterday was a one on one. So 18 women got dates in the first episode of dates, episode two, we know they gave us 27 women last when they announced the women, what was it on Monday?
Whenever it was. Yeah. They gave us the women last Monday, 27 women possible to be on grant season. We don’t know how many got cut, but knowing now that 18 had dates, my guess is probably two got cut and before filming started and 25 women started grant season and they eliminated seven on the first night.
That’s just a guess on my part. It could be three got eliminated and then, and they Before the show started and six didn’t get roses on night one, or it could have been one didn’t make the cut and eight got eliminated, you know, but we do know 18 women had dates in week one. So that makes me think that nobody was left out and didn’t get a date.
They started that pretty much with the last few seasons for a while there, there was always two or three that didn’t get dates in the first episode of dates just for whatever reason. But for the last couple of seasons, everybody’s gotten a date in every episode. So knowing now that 18 10 on Friday, seven on Saturday and one yesterday.
So the fact that I know 17 of the 18 who got dates yesterday, I, you know, there’s only, let’s just say Grant started with 25 women. Well, There’s a one in eight chance, you know, there’s a one in eight chance that somebody got the one on one. I don’t know who it is. I’m sure I’ll find out later I can use process elimination.
And yeah, it was didn’t seem like too much drama from what I heard in regards to the dates, what happened in the basketball game and what happened at the R and B date. Didn’t seem like there was too much drama. There were people that did stand out. Obviously there was a winner, an MVP was named in the basketball game.
And like I said, there was a winner voted on by judges in the R and B date on Saturday as well. So, you know, people go to these dates. I’m sure stuff will get out there. And I, you know, I’m fine. Like I say this every season, but there’s different levels of spoilers. When there’s a viewing audience for a spoiler.
Yeah. If I wanted to be the first one out there, I would have put it out there. I would have put Fridays it out there on Friday night. I would have put Saturdays out there on Saturday night. I just, it’s not for episodes one and two. It’s not that important for me to run to my computer and spoil it. I know people are out there and are probably going to tell others and that’s fine.
It’s, it is what it is because it was witnessed by a bunch of people. So am I going to think that every single person who attended the dates on Friday and Saturday aren’t going to tell somebody who’s going to tell somebody who’s going to tell somebody who you know, tells an Instagram account. No, I’m not worried about it.
I will tell you when I feel like telling you and filling you in on everything, but it’s a lot of women anyway, and you’re probably going to forget a lot of it to begin with. So yeah. You know, I’ll reveal it in due time. I’m not going to wait till the end of the season. I’m just going to say like, Hey, let’s see what gets out this week.
Cause as of right now, I haven’t seen them put out anything for possible dates in LA for the public to attend this week. So maybe these are the only ones. I don’t know. I haven’t seen anything else. That’s your update on what’s going on on grant season. The other thing is, if you look at my social media, if you look at my Instagram in particular, I put the grants women on my feet.
I had only had them in my stories the day they came out last Monday. And then I added them to my highlights. But now they are in my feet. All 27 women have been identified with their first and last name and their Instagram account. It’s in my Instagram feed, except for one. Her name is Ella. I believe she’s how old is she?
I got it right here. 25 from Los Angeles, California. She’s the only person I don’t have a Instagram account for or a last name for. So 26 of those 27 women posted last Monday are in my feed now. So if you ever hear me talking about them, or you want to go back and try and figure out who’s who they’re all on my Instagram feed now with their headshots that they gave to the bachelor Facebook page, which was taken down on Friday.
So the only access you have to these women is my account or the other Instagram accounts that posted the women. But myself and bachelor data, the only ones that identify their last names and Instagram accounts. So they’re all out there. So go check that out on my Instagram page. Once I start revealing the names and who was on what dates and who won and who was the loud one on the R and B date, who was the one that stuck out?
