The inaugural edition of Silicon Valley Contemporary, the region’s first art fair bridging the worlds of art and technology, runs April 10-13th at the downtown San Jose McEnery Convention Center. With a robust program of international exhibitors, special projects, and public events, the fair promises to provide insider access to the Valley’s industry juggernauts and inspire a new breed of contemporary art collector. To compliment the dynamic presentation of works for sale, Silicon Valley Contemporary will provide art enthusiasts, emerging and established collectors, and Valley residents with a week of cultural programming that will include panels, parties, and tours of local institutions.
Here’re some of the artworks available:
Devorah Sperber, After van Gogh (Self Portrait)- 2008
Luis Gispert, Gucci Gloom, 2011
Jaime Brett Treadwell, How Things Were Made, 2013
Hiroshi Senju, Waterfall, 2013
Arnix, This is My Body, 2013
The Silicon Valley Contemporary also offers a nice selection of lectures and special events. It’s a nice addition to the San Francisco area art scene and we hope they are back next year.
