The Bram Stoker Awards, recognizing achievement in the horror genre, and given yearly since 1988 by the Horror Writers Association, were announced earlier this month.
One of their categories, and why I’m mentioning it here, is Superior Achievement in a Graphic Novel. (I like that they considered manga as well.) The nominees were:
and the winner was Carmilla: The First Vampire by Amy Chu and Soo Lee from Dark Horse. Congratulations to all those recognized!
