Be on the lookout for San Cisco’s “Summer Days,” an indie pop track with a catchy chorus. That track comes off their forthcoming album.
The band says, “The band elucidates, “Experiencing loss goes beyond reminiscing about the past; it’s also about grieving for the potential futures that might have unfolded. This envisioned future could be as grand or as modest as one’s heart desires, mending the void left within.”
Originating from Fremantle, Western Australia, the indie-pop trio San Cisco has carved out a decade-long career, establishing themselves as one of Australia’s most successful independent artists. With a slew of accolades under their belt, including millions of streams and critical acclaim, the band has released four studio albums and embarked on global tours, selling out headline shows and gracing the stages of renowned festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, and more. During the summer of 2022/23, San Cisco enthralled audiences at the national Wine Machine Festival, Beyond The Valley Festival, and NYE In The Park.
In late 2020, the trio unveiled their fourth studio album, “Between You and Me,” a project that took two years to craft and was influenced by at least one poignant love affair. The album soared to the top three spots on the ARIA Album Charts, featuring chart-topping singles such as ‘When I Dream,’ ‘Skin,’ the festival anthem ‘Reasons,’ and ‘On The Line,’ all of which made significant strides on the Hottest 100 charts. Despite facing a series of rescheduled and canceled shows over the past two years, San Cisco’s enthusiasm remains unwavering as they conclude recording sessions for their fifth studio album, slated for release in 2023.
