British Museum Stabbing: Man Wounded

One man was wounded in a stabbing outside the British Museum in central London on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police said, adding that it was an isolated incident and that a suspect had been arrested.

The victim was taken to the hospital, the police said on social media. The incident occurred at the intersection of Russell and Museum Streets, near the front entrance to the museum, one of London’s most popular tourist attractions.

There was “no outstanding risk to the public,” the police posted.
