Hey before I get to today’s review… did you see it? ‘What’ you ask?? The little widget on my side bar. The Accelerated Reader one? Well, if you look at it, it took me two days into the school year to reach my sixth grade requirement of 50 points. 
Of course I am a loooong way away from beating my personal goal of 1505 points, but keep watching! I am REALLY excited this year because there are a bunch of kids in school telling me they want to beat me! I say – ‘BRING IT ON!‘ It is AWESOME that this is getting kids to read more! WOO!
Enough of this silliness! On to today’s review!

The Sun and the Moon loved each other. They had a daughter, Grace, whom they loved very much (Grace lives on Earth). One day, the Sun and Moon started to argue. There were storms in the skies of Earth because they fought so much. Grace thought it was her fault the Sun and Moon were fighting. Grace didn’t know why they couldn’t all be together.
This is a very interesting book on divorce. I like how it has the sun and moon (two things that can’t possibly be together) as parents. It explains why the sun and moon are in the sky at two different times and relates it to a divorce situation. Both parents love Grace, but Grace is confused. In the book, there are discussion points and questions relating to the story and divorce that parents and children can talk about. I think books like this are important for kids and parents going through a divorce situation. It may help kids talk about what they are feeling and help them understand. The illustrations are very nice to look at and the story is appropriate for any age.
